Eau de Toilette Florale made in Grasse 100ml
An Eau de Toilette is defined by the concentration of its olfactory principles. Eau de Toilette is between an Eau de Cologne (extract of 4-6%), and an Eau de Parfum (extract of 10-15%), which means that an Eau de Toilette contains 6-10% of perfume extracts. Eaux de toilette are generally alcoholic-based macerations with a titration of about 80 °C %/ total pure alcohol strength. Ethyl alcohol is used (resulting from the distillation of plants and fruits), a guarantee of quality. The extracts are produced by my perfumer in the region of Grasse following our instructions and requirements, and the technology used to obtain them is the same as those used to make Eaux de Parfum. Extracts are generally obtained from essential oils and the synthesis of natural active ingredients, excluding any animal-based ingredients. Th quality of the Eau de Toilette depends on the quality of the ingredients and the technology used to make it. This is true for all products, from the most basic to the very best!
Eaux de Toilette are soliflore (based on one flower, plant, etc.), or creative (based on a strong symbol, e.g. fern, an analogy of the colour of the preparation which has produced a new olfactory family, etc.).
Eaux de Toilette can be feminine, masculine and mixed (men and women). Although this definition is a relative notion, it is the objective emotion that it creates which should take pride of place and it is not unusual for an eau de toilette such as vetiver (classified as masculine) to be worn by a woman.
In short, an eau de toilette should be light and easy to wear, which does not mean it should be insipid or plain..
